Is art better than sex?

As discussions go in the early hours of the morning between friends.
Subject: is art better than sex?
According to Mike yes, well he also gets aroused from going to private views and new art openings.
It can be a blink

Something that goes on in your subconscius, that gives you a sensation which you can't explain, but you know it's right.
I recently read this amazing book, which explains what goes on in our minds, the split second decision that proved itself more reliable than all the scientific tests of all time to unveil a Chorus as a fake.
Gladwell is an amazing writer. This book is about what happens in our minds in those split 2 seconds.
He's also famous for his book Tipping Point, in which deals with figuring out the rules by which social change happens. For example in NY they reduced street crime by keeping the neighboorhoods in perfect status, replacing every broken window and wiping out graffiti from tube carriages every single night, until it defeated the purpose.
Anyway more here.
BLINK

Coming back to the original theme. Is art better than sex?

Uh! Well smuggling it, for some is:
art society blog

For A instead food can be better than sex and his memory goes back to amazing banquets he attended to, or particular sensations that his tasting buds trasmitted him.

Salty, Sour, Sweet, Bitter or Umami?

So the question here is, do different people have different priorities in their senses or do they have one of them particular augmented?
Definetely this is the case.
Surely if it is vision, that makes Mike prefer a work of art to sex, then why watching a porn doesn't ?

My take on this? Sex on drugs is better than sex, but you might prefer spagnetti bolognese
( Can I remind non Italians here that we generally eat bolognese with tortellini and not with overcooked spaghetti!)

erm TORTELLINI ARE EATEN IN CAPON BROTH. some have it with panna (Cream). ragu´is had with tagliatelle or papardelle. am shocked and appalled by this glaring mistake. HEATHEN!

now. back to the subject at hand.

i think the wrong question was asked. is film better than sex?

and we all know the answer to that obvious question.

back to my dream world. grey.

May I here justify myself?
In Sicily ehm I always had tortellini with Bolognese.
I however aknowledge here my error and I must admit the shock in googling tortellini bolognese and find out they were with broth!
Could you please however try tortellini with bolognese? Come on be operminded.
That reminds me of Come on I'm coming... From Furlan, the nutter, which used to get naked at any occasion, now sings at weddings.. (well also cool ones!)

no no no this is out of question. allowing someone to eat tortellini with bolognese defeats the purpose of both, and makes your statement about spaghetti pointless. if you can eat bolognese with tortellini, why not them with spaghetti.

no, sorry, tot is right. tagliatelle or pappardelle. or lasagne/cannelloni, of course.

why not ``could you please try eating shit and smile thereafter''?

i suppose i could. but i won't.

not to go all evangelical on you, however:
“Rendete dunque a Cesare quello che è di Cesare e a Dio quello che è di Dio”. (Matteo Cap. 22, v. 21)

subsitute. cesare with bologna. and dio with sicily.

the answer to the title question is NO however I have   been told that my lovemaking is somewhat of an art form

moving right along, the only time I have a problem with Pasta bolognese is when someone calls it SPAG BOL and if it comes out a tin or is served at Pizza Hut
